Belittling me will not make me automatically respect you.
Being family will not make me automatically respect you.
Treating me like you’re better than me will not make me automatically respect you.
Being attractive will not make me automatically respect you.
Being mean/rude/intimidating will not make me automatically respect you.
Being “military” will not make me automatically respect you.
Being an officer of any sort will not make me automatically respect you.
Being a doctor/lawyer/judge will not make me automatically respect you.
Being in an authoritative position will not make me automatically respect you.
Driving a Maserati will not make me automatically respect you.
Having $546k in the bank will not make me automatically respect you.
Boasting and bragging will not make me automatically respect you.
Tbh.. it will probably do the exact opposite.
What does make me respect you… Kindness. Acceptance. Understanding. Humility. Softness. Empathy.
I don’t care if you’re the CEO of a company or the janitor that cleans the building. How you act/react to things, and how you treat people says the most about your character. I’ll judge you by that and treat you accordingly ✌🏼
